Boekenlijst COW juni 2009-juni 2010 De boekenlijst bestaat uit 5 onderdelen: - Standaardwerken voor alle AIOS en opleidingsklinieken. Voor AIOS is 1 algemeen en 1 ouderenpsychiatrie standaardwerk verplicht. Te kiezen valt uit de werken onder de genoemde categorien. Opleidingsklinieken moeten uit alle categorieën minstens 1 boek in een voor AIOS toegankelijke bibliotheek hebben staan.
- Overige aanbevolen boeken. Aanbevolen voor AIOS, opleidingsklinieken en klinisch geriaters danwel internisten ouderengeneeskunde.

Veel tijdschriften zijn dan on-line beschikbaar.De aanbevolen tijdschriften zijn gedefinieerd als het bovenste kwartiel wat betreft impact factor in de sectie Gerontology & Geriatrics ( 2007 JCR Science ed.). Hierbij de meer klinisch georiënteerde tijdschriften genomen.Voor opleidingen klinische geriatrie zijn minstens twee tijdschriften verplicht.
